Willing is about vulnerability and strength and how the two are inextricably paired. Drawings of figures are paired with segments of a haiku that both work to illustrate both visually and conceptually ways in which we simultaneously guard and expose, defend and submit to forces beyond ourselves. That we show vulnerability in our power, and that there is power in our vulnerabilities.
