Newly completed painting: "Carletta"

Today I have completed my first commissioned work. Everybody asks me, why did she choose that image for me to paint. It was a mutual decision between her and myself, that the image should reflect my type of work as an artist. I am thankful to her that she was so willing to submit to my style, instead of wanting me to do things that didn't fit the kind of work I generally make.

I have been very busy with everything other than painting as my move to Philadelphia approaches (exactly one month away as of this writing.) I just found out that my apartment application was approved and I know where in the building I will be living. 12th floor! Hopefully I am facing south, which would provide some amazing skyline views. So, that is what is happening right now in my life. There will be some other paintings that I will be finishing in the next couple of days.
