MFA Update 3

Grad school has been insane in so many good ways. Many of which I cannot even describe, partly for fear of incriminating myself. It is so funny to be in a group of people who are not only fun, but actually have more than a trace opinion about art. I think my work will benefit greatly from this new environment, It already has. People from all sorts of places coming together and actually getting along and being friends, that is something that MFA candidates can only hope for. I have heard so many stories of programs being so internally competitive that you feel that your contemporaries are enemies, but my group can't be more solid. It is going to be a pretty fun two years.
